Research is a form of ancestral veneration.
In seeking justice for Black ghosts we work
with a haunted lineage. Speaking of what
haunts our family, uncovering the patterns
of behaviours and actions, naming it,
noticing it, working to break it. This helps
settle the unrested…The dead are part of
our community, working with the dead
means you are in community with them.
This relationship is inseparable from that
with the earth.
